How AI Photo Editor Credits Work

Learn how AI Photo Editor credits are granted, spent, retained, and automatically refunded when a generation does not complete.

How you earn free credits

A new anonymous editor identity starts with two photo credits in the same wallet system used by signed-in accounts.

  • New accounts start at zero photo credits. Signing up does not add credits automatically.
  • Signed-in users can manually claim two photo credits once per UTC day. Claimed account credits accumulate and do not expire.
  • Anonymous trial credits do not transfer into an account when you sign in.
  • Anonymous and signed-in identities can use the same models, ratios, resolutions, and single or batch modes whenever their wallet has enough credits.

How edits use credits

  • Qwen Image Edit uses 2/4 credits per output at 1K/2K resolution.
  • GPT Image 2 uses 4/6/9 credits per output at 1K/2K/4K resolution.
  • Nano Banana uses 4/6/9 credits per output at 1K/2K/4K resolution.
  • Composition combines up to three inputs into one output and charges one output unit.
  • Batch generates one independent output for each input, in order, and charges each output unit separately.

When credits return

A credit reservation is made before provider processing. If an edit fails, times out, or the provider cannot complete it, the reserved credits are released or refunded automatically. A failed edit does not become a successful paid edit.

Paid credit types

Monthly and annual subscriptions grant a fixed number of credits each month. The one-time credit pack is finite and does not expire. Product amounts and billing periods are shown on the pricing page before checkout.
